Institutional entrepreneurship for responsible digital innovation: The case of corporate digital responsibility

چکیده

How does responsible digital innovation become an accepted and desired practice for businesses? Drawing on the case of Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR), we study how institutional entrepreneurs across different fields construct CDR as issue to legitimize corporate commitment innovation. Our qualitative from Germany suggests that entrepreneurship entails discursive, relational material legitimation through CDR. The findings this enrich research by shedding light field-level construction Responsibility. We further extend existing frameworks detailing multi-stakeholder efforts may shape a firm's approach CDR, well revealing additional topics associated with issue. highlight theoretical practical implications our research.
